New York in my heart

Sitting in my bed in manhattan after a very long day. I havent stopped walking since wednesday. crazy. So it actually feels really nice to just relax.
I havent realized at all that Im actually going to live here for about a year. guess that it will take a while to get used to it.

Tomorrow Im doing a list with all the things I wanna do while Im here. Including gospel in Harlem, crazy talkshows where people are hitting each other to Guggenheim and playing beer pong in testerone breezing pubs. (Okey the last one is maybe not on my list but anyway)

I think that Im moving to the apartment in New Jersey. Feels like the best option. Its really a luxurious place. And I would prefer that to a small studio in Manhattan for the double price. Im not rich (yet).

Time to go to bed, so good night to you all.

Alors encore une fois..

Im here again sitting in yet another country. And this time its for about 9 months. Voir plus. Depends on how this year goes. If Im not too tired of the people and their thoughts..
Well. after all New York is supposed to be the best city ever. Depending on who you ask. But hey Im trying to be objective here.
So basically I moved here just a couple of days ago. 4 to be exact. So everything is pretty new.
Very noisy, a lot of people everywhere, and everything seem to be done in about 150 km an hour.

Anyway heading out for an outdoor concert somewhere near SoHo...

Back again

No Im not dead. Dont worry! Just had to have a break from the whole blogging thing.
Dont know why really.

Apparently it's no longer "hip" to have a blog. According to one of my teachers.
But hey. Why follow the trend? I say continue blogging!

France is no longer filling out the space of "country of residence", but at the moment its currently (and briefly) beeing filled with letters spelling Sweden. But not for long though.
On the 22nd of August I officially move to the States. But the question is for how long? Im supposed to stay 9 months. But hey.. supposed is just to indicate the uncertainty.
I was "supposed" to stay 4 months in France.. and it ended up being almost 4 years.
Go figure.

France has a very special place in my heart though. Will always stay that way. For various reasons.

Hmm.. I guess this was a nice attempt to come back to the whole blogging thing.
A bit rusty perhaps.

How can a life just drastically change like that?
I dont mean that in a negative way.
Not at all.
Just different.

Started work yesterday. Back at the airport.
Funny that a lot of my "old" collegues are still there.
Not being judgemental here. But hey.. there are better jobs out there..
Just a little comment.
And no. Not judgemental.

Funnily enough, after 4 years of abscence from work, I still remember the computer systems. Have to have a better memory that I actually thought. Woho.

Otherwise looking for an apartment in NY. If anyone has a contact,or maybe a cool apartment on Manhattan.. you know where to find me....

wow

Didnt think it would be that hard. Leaving France I mean.
Last hours a bit stressful.
Saying goodbye to people I love.
Stressing to catch the train at the last minute.
And then when the tensions just broke loose.
Seeing Lyon sweeping away outside the window.
Everything seemed so quiet and still for what seemed to be an eternity.
Weird feeling in my stomach.
Butterflies?
Easy now, easy.

And now sitting in the kitchen at home, listening to the sound of the fan, and the refrigerator making strange noises.

Feels like I havent been gone at all.

fucking manipulator

Fan vad jag hatar folk som manipulerar en. Tror dom att dom kan komma undan med det eller?

You're intentions are clear as water.
What did you think?
That I would sit there, shut up, and nod my head in d'accord?
That would be too easy.
You're one of the worst type of people.
Manipulating fucker.
Love turning to hate.
The worst part is that you always turn things to your own profit.
And you deny it.

Voila.
That's what is on my mind at the moment.

10 things about me

1. I have a passion for "macarons"- especially the pistacho and chocolate ones.

2. I have been paid 350 euros to attend a party.

3. I hate when people (read French) say things that are totally useless. example: God you look REALLY tired or are you REALLY gonna eat that chocolate.. you know what that does to you? Somebody kick them!

4. I have thrown an orange in someone's head.

5. I have done the mistake of saying Oysters, instead of Oasis (the group) on a radio competition show.

6. I have eaten Fruit Loops from the floor in front of my family to prove I had gotten over my bacteria phobia.

7. I like pastis.

8. I never forget what people have done to me. (Scorpio characteristic...?)

9. I once cut off my hair, leaving only 5 centimetres on my head.

10. I am attracted to the impossible.
